structure and execute the transaction to minimize risk and optimize expected returns
Ki Ingersol, based in our San Francisco office, has a track record of initiating and
managing acquisition and financing projects, and shepherding such projects to completion.
Prior to rejoining the Colmen Group in 2009 as Executive Vice President, Mr. Ingersol was
a Vice President in the Sacramento office of First National Investment Banking. Mr.
Ingersol has practiced law in the San Francisco Bay Area and served as an advisor to the
Board of the Colmen Group and as a Vice President of the Colmen Group. Mr. Ingersol
focuses his efforts in the areas of Clean Technology, Agribusiness, Renewable Energy, High
Technology, Software and Consumer Products.
Mr. Ingersol served as Chairman of the Board of Game Ventures, Inc., a consolidation of
video game software development companies, certain participants of which raised $150
million from a top tier Bay Area based investment fund. Mr. Ingersol was also Chairman of
Torque Ventures of Los Angeles, a firm which specialized in initiating and managing
multi-company acquisition and financing projects like the Hostcentric web hosting
consolidation, which was also backed by a well known Bay Area based investment fund. Mr.
Ingersol was the founding CEO of Hostcentric, and served on its Board of Directors from
its inception until its acquisition by a publicly traded web hosting company.
Prior to starting the Hostcentric project, Mr. Ingersol practiced in the Corporate
Finance, Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions groups of the law firms Morrison &
Foerster, Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal, and Jackson Tufts Cole & Black. At these
firms, Mr. Ingersol advised companies and investors in connection with mergers,
acquisitions, investments, securities law issues, intellectual property issues and a wide
range of other corporate and financing matters.
Mr. Ingersol also served as Director of Strategic Development and Counsel for Xing
Technology Corporation, a pioneer in the field of internet audio and video streaming
technology. In these capacities, he helped Xing secure venture capital financing from an
affiliate of a well known Los Angeles based investment fund. Mr. Ingersol also helped Xing
close a number of strategic partnerships and align the company for a $75 million
acquisition by RealNetworks.
Mr. Ingersol is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, and earned an MBA
from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA, where he received direct instruction from
leaders in the fields of Investment Banking and Finance.
